Does LeakFrog work like a Smoke Alarm?
Smoke alarms sound an alert when they come in contact with smoke. In a similar fashion, LeakFrog will sound an alert when it comes in contact with water. Simply place LeakFrog on any flat surface where a water leak might result in puddling or a flow of water. When water starts to collect on this surface, even if it’s only 1/32 inch deep, LeakFrog will start to beep.

How long will the warning beep last?
The warning beep may last for up to three days if LeakFrog is continually exposed to water and if its batteries are in good condition. We recommend installing new batteries annually.

Why do I need LeakFrog if I can see a leak when it happens?
Damage might occur before you notice the leak. Even a few minutes warning can prevent thousands of dollars in damage.

Can LeakFrog help prevent mold damage?
Water leaks can contribute to mold growth. Detecting and stopping leaks quickly can help prevent mold. LeakFrog can warn you of a water leak faster than visual detection.
